Gauge is given for the aran yarn.

For the bolero, sizes 0-6 months require 1 x 100g ball of Supersoft Aran, sizes 6 mo - 2 years require 2 balls, and 3-6 years require 3 balls.

All bolero sizes also require 1 ball of Sirdar Funky Fur (DK weight, 50g = 98yds) and 1 metre (approx. 1 yd) of narrow ribbon for the tie front, plus thread to attach the ribbon.

The blanket is one size, 18” x 24” (46cm x 61cm). It requires 1 ball of Supersoft Aran and 2 balls of Funky Fur.

Circular needles (80cm) may be used to knit the trim on the bolero and blanket but are not essential as the construction given in the leaflet is for flat knitting, i.e. there is no knitting ‘in the round’.

The 5mm needles are for the Supersoft Aran, the 4mm needles are for the Funky Fur.
