Baby Charley Cardigan
I am super excited about this design! It is inspired by a blurry picture of Princess Charlotte’s cardigan, as she went to visit Prince Louis. I don’t know what stitch was used or what details it has and I don’t want to know, as I’m using it purely as inspiration.
I started by doing a tension square, drew a rough sketch of a design idea & then worked out how many stitches to cast on, based on my tension square & stitch repeat.
This design is also inspired by knitters who pop into my studio – they have asked for 4 ply baby cardigans – so let’s do it!
This cardigan is knitted in one piece until the armholes.
