Baby Booties and Mary Jane Shoes
Using the provided size chart, these sweet little slipper boots or Mary Janes can be made small enough for a baby doll at 7cm (2 ¾”) long or large enough for a toddler at 15cm (6”) long. Instructions are provided for 5cm (2”) and 6cm (2½”) width fittings.
The upper is gently shaped with a raised line and ‘accidental’ eyelets for decorative effect.
The sole features a circular ball which can be worked in a contrasting colour if you want to add a little variety to the boot.
Materials: 50m (55yd) - 200m (219yd) of double knitting (8-ply) yarn - colour changes are optional and amount is very much dependant on size.
You will also need: a needle to neaten ends, one stitch marker, a tape measure and two buttons, approximately 17mm (¾”) diameter for the Mary Jane option.
Embellishments are optional.
Hook: 3.50mm
