Sport-weight yarn (Jean used Red Heart Sport yarn in Baby Pink #724)
Knitting needles—four size 5 (3.75mm) double-pointed needles
Two 18-inch lengths of 1/8-inch-wide matching satin ribbon
Stitch marker
Yarn or tapestry needle
Scissors

GAUGE:
Working in St st for booties, 5 sts and 8 rows = 1 inch.
