This baby blanket is knitted using only purl and knit stitches and is therefore relatively easy to knit.

Stitch Gauge and Size
With We Love Yarn, Mega Ball aran:
Stockinette stitch: 15 stitches is 10 cm wide, 23 rows is 10 cm high.
With this gauge, the blanket will be approx. 87 cm wide and approx. 87 cm long.

With Rico Design, BASIC Super Big aran:
Stockinette stitch: 17 stitches = 10 cm wide. 24 rows = 10 cm high.
With this gauge, the blanket will be approx. 77 cm wide and approx. 83 cm long.

With Hobii, Amigo XL:
Stockinette stitch: 16 stitches = 10 cm wide. 22 rows = 10 cm high. With this gauge, the blanket will be approx. 82 cm wide and approx. 90 cm long.

Material Needed:
• You will need 1 ball of We  Yarn, Mega Ball aran. 100% polyacrylic. LL: 700m per 400g. I used exactly 380g. The amount used may vary slightly depending on your personal knitting style. You can also use another yarn with a similar yardage (e.g., Rico Design, BASIC Super Big aran or Hobii, Amigo XL).
• Knitting needles size 5 (length 45 cm) or circular needles size 5 (80 cm).
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
