Pattern Description

You don’t have to live on the banks of the Seine to love this classic beret. From its elegant picot edge to the crocheted flower on the brim, the beret has flair--yet it’s fast and easy to knit, since it’s all in stockinette stitch. The hats pictured in the book are knit in cotton yarns similar in weight to worsted wool, but directions are also given for lightweight fingering yarn. You’ll find that this hat looks great in almost any yarn.

Other yarn choices include Classic Elite Spotlight (uses US 3 and 4 needles). 80 yds MC, 10 yds CC A, 25 yds CC B.
