Cardigan (and shorts) for a ca. 0-12 month old baby in tnree sizes.

The cardigan uses 4/4/5 1oz. skeins of Patons Quickerknit Baby Wool and can be made “for a girl or a boy” i.e. buttons on one or the other side. Additional matierals: 6 buttons. No. 11 (old UK size) and No. 9 needles.

Finished size: 18/20/22 inches under arms, 9.5/10/10.5 inches long from shoulders, sleeve seam 5/5.5/6 inches. Tension: 8 sts and 10.5 rows to an inch.

The pattern is a sort of broken 3/1 rib: k3,p1 and mirror for 2 rows, then sl1,k1,p3 and mirror for 2 rows.

There is a patern for matching knickers included.
