Beautiful wristwarmers with a fascinating Japanese pattern.
The pattern consists of twisted ribs and smock
- these are stitches where the yarn is wrapped 2 times around them, so that the great effect is created.

Width: 9 cm

Height: 22 cm

Yarn: Hand-dyed Pure Luxury (50 % Silk, 50 % Yak 200 m / 50 g):

1 skein col. Golden Olive from Englegarn.dk

eller Pure Luxury Naturel: 1 skein

Needles: Double Pointed Needles 2½ mm (US / European) or Circulars 2½ mm, 80 cm (if using magic loop-method) or size required to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 30 st x 44 r in st st with pattern (after blocking)

Workflow

The wristwarmers are knitted bottom up.
After 14 cm leave stitches on waste yarn for the thumb, which is knitted in the end.
At the top of the wristwarmers and the thumb hole is an I-cord edge.

For bigger size of the wristwarmers use bigger needles and/or thicker yarn.
