Azulejo Socks
Inspired by my stunning first (certainly not last!) trip to Portugal, the Azulejo socks are my interpretation of the stunning beauty of the city of Lisbon. The picot cuff evokes the terracotta roofs, and the slipped tile stitch pattern celebrates the tile (Azulejo) facades that are found around every corner in this incredibly beautiful country.
The yarn is Retrosaria Mondim, purchased on my trip at the Retrosaria shop in Lisbon, and is a natural yarn made from 100% Portuguese Wool.
