Await Shrug
AWAIT is a simple side-to-side shrug, perfect for layering over tees and dresses. The body is worked as a basic rectangle with stretchy ribbed cuffs and easy to memorize Rick-Rack Lace. The ends of the rectangle are seamed, forming the sleeves, then the ribbed edging is picked up and worked in the round.
Sizing is very flexible for this project and can be adjusted on the needles. For the best fit, measure your bicep circumference to determine what sleeve size to cast on, rounding up if you’re between sizes. The length of the shrug across the back is easily changed if you need a smaller or wider shrug.
