Aviaya Sweater
Aviaya Sweater is a classic pullover in allover half fisherman’s rib with a clean and minimal look. It is worked seamlessly from the top down, both flat and in the round, with 1 strands of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.
You start with the back neck and shoulders, working back and forth from the mid-back cast-on, first one side and then the other. Next, you pick up stitches and work the yoke back and forth before work is joined at the underarms and continued in the round for the body. Afterwards, sleeve stitches are picked up and sleeves worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckband and worked in the round. Italian bind-off method is used for body, sleeves and neckband.
Aviaya Sweater is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm 38½”, you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
