We translate a vintage leather flight jacket into a slip-stitch marvel. Instead of leather and shearling, we choose 3 colors of tweed yarn and a moss stitch collar and lapels. A purchased belt closure says “Hurray for classic dressing.”

The yarn requirements are:
475-700 yds of Color A
325-450 yds of Color B
425-600 yds of Color C
Yardage numbers above represent total yardage range.

A 24-inch 4mm/US6 circular needle is suggested for use in the pattern.
