Avery beanie
The “AVERY” beanie - warm, woolly and cute as a button
As simple as it is adorable, this little beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up. The woolly little lambs can be knit in as you go using the intarsia method or added later using duplicate stitch. Instructions for both are included.
THE BASICS
• Pattern includes 5 sizes: Newborn / Baby / Toddler / Child / Adult
• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms
• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles
• Instructions for sheep are charted for either intarsia or duplicate stitch
• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE
• Gauge: 22 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

• Knitting in the round
• Basic decreases
• Knitting I-cord
• Colorwork using Intarsia OR Duplicate Stitch
SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED
• Approx. 58 (76, 96, 117, 141) yds / 53 (70, 88, 107, 129) m DK weight yarn for hat
• Approx. 20 (24, 28, 32, 36) yds / 18 (22, 26, 29, 33) m DK weight yarn for sheep
• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” (for 3 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
• Set of U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
