these gloves can be made with less than one ball of noro! they are a simple, straightforwrd fingerless glove with easy to understand shaping. perfect for beginners, and fast enough for seasoned knitters to fly through in an afternoon or two.

these simple gloves were done on the fly for a buddy who does reenactment/larping with a group called “avalon”. he plays a monk of sorts, clothed in mottled brown rags of cloth. since the winter is coming (eventually, anyway) and it does not get too terribly cold where we live, i thought he might appreciate a pair of mismatched gloves to go with is mismatched costume. i enjoyed making them so much, i decided to write up a basic pattern for them. i hope you enjoy!
