Set with matching hat and cowl.

The pattern is made in two sizes; XS/S and M/L. Largest size for Ladies (One Size) and smallest to fit a young girl (approx. 8-12 years). The lace pattern is flexible and will shape well around the head.

The cowl can be made with a larger circumference by adding additional pattern repeats. If you prefer a higher cowl, add one extra pattern repeat.

Repeating pattern is shown on both charts and as written text.

Size: XS/S
Hat: Circumference to fit head 46-51 cm (18-20”). Height 20 cm (7.9“).
Cowl: Circumference 60 cm (23.6“). Height 19 cm (7.5”).

My Autum Heart Set is worked from «Tinde Pelsullgarn» from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, www.ull.no. This is a light (2ply) 100 % Norwegian pelt wool with gauge similar to a DK yarn.

The samples are knitted in:
Color 1104 (Burgundy);
Size XS/S. Hat: 40 g/1.4 oz (105 m/114 yds). Cowl: 60 g/2.1 oz (155 m /169 yds)

Color 1108 (ocher);
Size M/L. Hat: 55 g/2.0 oz (150 m /164 yds). Cowl: 80 g/2.8 oz (210 m /229 yds)

Any alternative yarn with similar gauge can be used. The texture would however be different and also material needed (weight and meters).

Mønsteret er laget i 2 størrelser – XS/S og M/L. Velg største størrelse for dame og minste størrelse for ung jente (ca 8-12 år). Mønsteret gjør at plagget vil ha mye strekk i seg og dermed vil luen forme seg godt etter hodet.
