Ever since I learned to crochet, granny squares have been my obsession. As a long time knitter, there is just nothing in knitting that compares to the ease of whipping up a perfect little crocheted square, with no tinkering, no fussing, and no crazy whacky stitches. They are as simple as they are beautiful, and have literally endless combinations of color and stitch combinations.

’Autumn’ Scarf is created from basic Granny Squares, with a simple but beautiful joining stitch, and finished off with a long fringe, this scarf is so quick and easy to work up, you’ll find yourself making it over and over in your favorite color combinations!

If you love the fall vibe of the scarf as pictured, the pattern gives yarn colors and amounts needed, and the granny squares are mapped out by color combinations and number of each combination needed to make the scarf exactly as shown.

Finished scarf is about 14” wide and 86” long without the fringe.
