This fling is ideal to use up scrap yarn and not whole 50 gm balls have been used. It is semi- free form so yarn substitutions can occur successfully. It is a great project to combine some of the newer yarns like eyelash and ribbon with regular DK and chunky yarns to create a wonderful effect. If in doubt over colour choices select a variegated yarn first and then select shades similar to the ones in the variegated yarn plus a contrast colour for extra pazzaz.
