Sweet Fiber’s Canadian yarn has officially launched! Pop over to her online shop to get your hands on some of this gorgeous yarn!
Authenticity is an absolutely inspired knit. It was designed in an evening and I just sped through it with joy. The amazing yarn and the ease of the pattern were both combined to be such a satisfying and enjoyable project! The inspiration for this project came from losing my way, making compromises and doing things for the wrong reasons. This pattern was the re-realizing that I should do what I love. I wear it and remember daily that it’s okay to be myself, whatever that means.
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are” ~ Brene Brown
Authenticity is a giant triangle shawl worked top down using yarn over increases to make the triangle shape. It uses a simple but brilliant lace repeat to add it’s textural loveliness. Wrap it around yourself, you know you waaaannnaaa.
