Amid the summer calm I wander the garden paths with a well-worn Jane Austen book in hand. The pages transport me through time to the gentle, rural rhythms of the Regency Era. As the words fill my mind, I dream of walking the same grounds as her beloved characters.

Though I have yet to experience the grand landscapes of the English countryside, these stories bridge the gap. As if stepping through the pages, my feet find a new thoroughfare in the soft grass. These socks, inspired by the tangled beauty of a Regency hedge and the pale petals of a cottage garden, become a wearable landscape. Stitched with the spirit of a wild English hedgerow, they are the very road that carries me into a beautiful story told by a wonder of literature one stitch at time.
