Aurora Rainbow Baby Blanket
Aurora Rainbow Baby Blanket Pattern
A bright and cheerful rainbow blanket perfect for any nursery. This blanket starts out as a solid coloured rainbow and fades to white at the bottom. --This creates the most “pixel” perfect effect, softening the look of the blanket for baby. Each granny square is worked up as a solid colour and joined as you go making it super quick with less ends to sew.
This pattern is worked up using a type of starburst granny square but can easily be modified to a traditional granny square (working more or less rounds) adjusts the size of the blanket for the perfect fit.
The pattern uses WeCrochet/Knit Picks Brava Worsted yarn and a 5mm (size H) hook.
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork! In addition to the sample shown there will be 6 extra colour charts with exact colours curated for you:
- a primary coloured rainbow
- a teal/blue fade
- a pink/purple fade
- a black/grey/brown fade
- a teal/green fade
- and a fun retro-coloured mix.
The final blanket size was: Approximately 35 x 43 inches.
Pattern will include:
- yarn amounts/quantities.
- yarn colours.
- stitch glossary.
- printable pdf of blanket graphs.
- full colour chart of all squares and their positioning so you can make this EXACT colour copy!
- full written instruction for the granny square used (type of starburst granny square).
- full written instruction for border.
- video tutorials for both the granny squares as well as the continuous join as you go method and border (all video tutorials are private videos that can only be accessed through the pattern link).
Happy Crocheting Everyone!
