The Aura Sweater is a love letter to the hazy, blurred beauty of silk mohair. By blending three strands for a thoughtful colour fade, this generously sized V-neck creates a luminous gradient that feels like a sunrise on your needles.

Aura Sweater features a slouchy drop shoulder and a relaxed fit; it’s designed to be the piece you reach for when you want to feel both warm and weightless.

MATERIALS
Yarn:

Approx. 2190 (2410, 2630, 2870, 3080) (3330, 3540, 3780, 4000) yds / 2000 (2200, 2400, 2620, 2820) (3040, 3240, 3460, 3660) m of lace-weight yarn.

Note: The whole sweater is knitted holding 3 strands of lace-weight yarn together. The yardage above represents the total amount of yarn used. In the sample I used:

  • Hieno by Aara Yarn, in colourway Puuteri (pink).

  • Glowhair by West Wool, in colourway Glass.

  • Silk Mohair by Isager, in colourways 41 (blue) and 67 (dusty pink).

  • Kidsilk Lace by Hedgehog Fibres, in colourway Zephyr (speckled).

  • Mohair Lace by The Wandering Flock, in colourway Peach Pop and Neon Pink.

Needles: US 8 (5 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long, and dpns in each size if not using magic loop method for small circumference knitting.
