Atypical sweater
I knitted my sample as shown from a Yarnz2go knit kit and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
An Atypical top to knit~
A very chic, yet easy to knit sweater with just simple knit and purl stitches being used throughout in two yarn weights.
Definitely not worked like most tops but it is very easy to knit and the end result is the truly chic “Atypical”.
Showing off a semi transparent look knitted with two yarns, creating very cool and flattering vertical stripes. The look and feel of this top is fabulous.
The front, back and sleeves get worked separately, with one side of the body being elongated therefore creating a bit of a dip, for an asymmetrical look. Once seamed, a simple crochet stitch adds a finishing touch and accentuates the neckline, sleeves and bottom border of your top.
Adjust the width and length of the body as well as to create 3/4 length sleeves versus full length sleeves with cuffs for instance. Notes on where and how to do so are included.
You’ll love the end result~
The pattern is fully written and offers schematics. For bust sizes ranging from:
34/36”, 38/40/42/44/46”, 48/50/52” with a positive ease of 1” to 1.5” worked into each size.
