Nobody likes spiders on their legs, but these had to be done! The lace panel that stretches down the middle includes leaves and branches, and if you squint a bit, might also look like dwarves, wrapped up in webs. Have fun!

Skill-level: Intermediate; the bobbles, beads, and lace stitches require a bit of concentration
Materials: 350-400 yards (320-365m) of sock yarn; the socks pictured are a size M and used approx. 380 yards of Silk Sock from Red Fish Dye Works, in a medium charcoal grey. A handful of size 6/0 seed beads in a matching or complementary color— the socks pictured used 33 beads per sock for a total of 66 on the pair. I recommend having as many as 100 beads for a large sock, but actual numbers will depend on both the size and the length of your socks.
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles; pattern is written for both DPNs and Magic Loop knitters
Tools: tape measure, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: 32 stitches and 36 rounds in stockinette stitch across 4 inches or 10cm.
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large) sizes measure approximately 8(9,10) inches or 20.3(22.85, 25.5) cm in circumference. Leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to fit and preference.

Note: This sock features large bobbles which, if replaced with some other knitting feature (ie. beads), will dramatically change the look of the sock.
