Asymmetrical Poncho
This is a great dress up or dress down kind of poncho made out of a nice heavy rayon/cotton blend. It can be worn asymmetrically or you can square it off - you choose! This is a fantastic project for the advanced beginner who wants to keep expanding their skills. Those lines in the poncho are the part that keep this pattern exciting - so happy knitting and enjoy!
You will need: US#8 knitting needles. Yarn to achieve gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch over stockinette stitch. 670 yds of a rayon/cotton were used to create the model shown that is a 16.5” wide & 55”long rectangle (after blocking and before seaming). Of course more yardage is needed if you want it wider or longer.
