This women’s A-line apron-style top is worked in the round from the bottom hem up to the bust. It is trimmed with some simple-to-knit details such as a braided cast-on/cast-off edge and a slip-stitch colorwork pattern at the hem and upper bust. The body is shaped with concentric decreases. Once the body is completed, straps are worked separately using the slip-stitch pattern and attached to the bodice. You may choose to sew both in place, or to sew only the back points in place, as shown in the sample, and select two small pins to hold the front in place (and allow for an easy fit customization as well).

Sample was knit in the size 36 with no ease. When selecting a size, choose the size closest to your actual high bust circumference.

You will need 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 7) balls of the MC; 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3) balls of CC1; 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) balls of CC2; and 1 ball of CC3 to knit pattern as written. Use a light fingering weight yarn or heavy laceweight yarn if choosing to substitute yarns.
