Asteria was named after the goodess of falling stars and so the 16 point version is named after the Titan god of stars and planets, Astraios. He was known as the father of the stars and the seasonal winds. Astraios, the blanket, is a 16 point star blanket that embraces texture with the use of popcorn and post stitches throughout. Using the continual repeat pattern this blanket can be made to any size you wish and ending on whichever round you choose.
