Aster Shawl
I’ve been waiting for my dream yarn to produce this geographic and floral representation of all the things I love most about crochet.
Enter the Mari Lola! Not just my dream colourway, but that delightful 4-ply cotton and acrylic gradient to be light, sturdy and drape like a dream. This single-skein triangle shawl balances open space and textural variation in a simple 11 row repeat. The stars and geometrical openings resemble aster flowers
With a gradient yarn, the colour blooms as you work your way from the centre out. You’ll catch yourself snapping shots of colour and texture changes. It’s too fun not to share!
This shawl is light to wear, quick to make and drapes like a dream - what more could you want?
