Wendy’s apartment is the one where all her daughters’ friends come to hang out, and on Friday nights they rent movies. You can only imagine how crowded a Manhattan living room is with eight teenagers sprawled all over the couch, the two chairs, and the floor. Wendy always felt bad for the late arrivals relegated to sitting on the floor, so she decided to knit them some cushions. They were a hit, and after a few weeks, the kids settled into their preferred seats.
