Art Deco Afghan CAL
Previous offered as a Crochet-A-Long in conjunction with Cascade Yarns, with video tutorials by Hooked By TJ.
Art Deco is a style of visual arts, architecture and design that first appeared in France just before World War I. Art Deco influenced the design of buildings, furniture, jewelry, fashion, cars, movie theatres, trains, ocean liners, and everyday objects such as radios and vacuum cleaners. It combined modern styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. Art Deco works are symmetrical, geometric, streamlined, often simple, and pleasing to the eye. With this in mind, I was inspired by many of the art pieces selected for the yarn kits. The result is a striking afghan ready for display in your own home, or to be proudly gifted to another.
The Art Deco Afghan will require:
I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Stitch Markers
Scissors
YARN (Cascade Anthem is suggested, but any worsted weight yarn will do.)
