Army of Chickens
Army of Chickens is a cozy mitten with an afterthought thumb
and simple slip-stitch detail. Named for the rows of little chicken feet ready to march that are found on the hand. This pattern is available individually or as part of the Wanderlust Collection.
Finished measurements:
7.25 (8, 8.75)“ circumference and 10” length
Designed to be work with little or no ease; measure around palm below thumb for proper fit.

Plucky Rustic by The Plucky Knitter
(100% wool; 165 yds 151 m/100 g)
1 (1, 2) skeins MC, shown in Peep Toes
1 skein CC, shown in Yellow Submarine
or approximately 140 (150, 180) yds of MC
and 22 (25, 28) yds of CC aran-weight yarn
Hands differ greatly in length. If you plan to knit your mittens longer than the finished measurements, be prepared by having extra yarn.
