Right from the start, I wanted to make a “boy’s version” of the Ermeline hooded cardigan. Being mum only to girls, I asked my husband for advice.. and here’s the result of our collaboration. I hope you’ll like it !

• Easy to crochet in one piece (no seaming !) from the top of the hood down, with enough details to keep it interesting.
• Unique details with granny triangle inserts. Closes with a zipper.
• Sizes go from 2T to 8 year old.
• Materials: 6 mm hook (J) + Gedifra «Fashion trend stripes», OR Katia “Flama”, “Mexico”, “Venus”, “Azteca”, or Monoprix “Rayure

Compared to the Ermeline, this jacket is shorter and boxier. The hood is also shorter. The edging is slightly different, the button pads are replaced by a zipper, the hips are less flared (only one triangle insert, with a different placement) and… there’s a pocket !
