The Aria Top is a bat sleeve cold shoulder top, crocheted on one piece, starting from the bottom to the neck, and then continued on to the front. It is seamed on the sides and on then attached on the round for the waist and sleeve sc-ribbing. PHOTO TUTORIAL INCLUDED ON THE PATTERN
This top has 1” to 3” of positive ease that with the waist ribbing, gives the illusion of being slimmer. It is very flattering on every size.
Gauge is very important for the pattern.
The length of the sleeves is included on the bust of the pattern so it is very important that you select the size of clothing that you normally wear. The sizes may seam to be bigger on inches but it is because we are considering the sleeves as part of the bust measurement.
yardage can vary a lot since there are different options to choose on the pattern. It can vary also on gauge and yarn, but here are some estimates
2 - 245 YDS
4 - 275 YDS
6 - 350 YDS
8 - 400 YDS
10 - 500 YDS
12 - 850 YDS
you will be able to obtain gauge with some weight 4 worsted yarn, but the drape and weight of the piece will change the fit. The yardage will be different as well.
