This is a classic Argyle sweater vest, with Argyle design on the front and a solid main color back.

Needle for Ribbing: 24” circular US Size 5 needle (3.75
mm), or one size smaller than size to meet gauge, for ribbing

Needles for Body: two 24” circulars US Size 6 (4.25 mm) for body (or size to meet gauge).

When working the argyle pattern, using one circular needle to knit back and forth is not recommended. The cable will interfere with the hanging bobbins. Two circular needles used as “straight” needles will work better.
