Argyle Pullover Vest
From Knitting with Balls:
Argyle, inspired by Scotsmen’s plaid kilts cut on the bias, didn’t actually make its way into popular culture unitl the 1940s. Since then, argyle has been in and out of style - much like the sweater vest itself. Now it’s trendier than ever before. Worked up in intarsia, the Argyle Pullover Vest is knitted with Malabrigo Merino, a super-soft hand-dyed merino from South America, which gives a modern feel to a classic design.
