As some folks may know, my son Aran is in remission from renal failure and chronic kidney disease that hit just over 5 years ago. He continues to have his annual checks as kidney disease can return, but I’m happy to say that he continues to be in very good health.

I’ve published this free pattern on his 11th birthday and would like to ask that where possible you kindly consider a donation to your local kidney charity. Research into kidney disease, it’s causes & potential cures is a cause that’s understandably very close to our hearts. Thank you.
