Originally designed for fun, now turning into an ebook full of fruit. This is the first pattern, the rest to follow shortly.
The cooking apples fell from the tree in the high winds last night and my daughter placed my knitted Apples in the basket of fruit, which spurred me into action. Just thought I’d share:)
Each Apple takes very little yarn. I knitted the samples in Stylecraft Pearl. D.K. but they can be knit in any D.K. yarn. Personally I like the pearlised sheen the yarn produces.
You will need some polyester toy filling for the interior of the Apple. Fun to knit in funky colours. Unfortunatley I didn’t knit any pastry for the pie!
