Inspired by the fruit bearing blossom that
symbolizes heady love, peace, sensuality
and fertility, the Apple Blossoms were
honored by the ancient Celts as a symbol
of love. The feather and fan lace stitch
pattern was my first love in the world
of lace knitting and by alternating two
natural color bands with a simple stripe
in a bright, hand dyed color, this shawl
symbolizes the bond of mother father &
baby. While the geometrically bold pattern
would be stunning for anyone, consider
this generously sized shawl also as a baby
shower gift.
