Get fruity! These knitted fruits can be used as toy food, pincushions, or make a knitted fruit bowl to decorate your home. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the fruits are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The stalks are i-cord tubes worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each shade used

SIZES
One size only - The apple is 11cm wide x 8cm high, and the pear is 11cm wide x 11cm high.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
