Aplomb Peplum Top
Ribbing can give a piece texture and a great fit. I have always wanted to use ribbing as a feature and the structure of a piece. Ribbing allows the top to accentuate your curves and boost your confidence with the fit.
The top represents my former selfie alter ego. Sassy, sexy and confident. I do not need it anymore, so the top is called the Aplomb Peplum. Aplomb is self-confidence. We all could use a little more of it.
This top is created with a sideways construction, in one piece. The top is seamed together by using a connecting stitch on the last row. The shoulders are then mattress seamed.
