Apiary Cardigan
The Apiary Cardigan is a cropped wrap cardigan with an allover honeycomb pattern. (This stitch pattern is thick and stretchy, like a brioche.) The body pieces are knit sideways starting from the center back and continuing through to the front. This construction allows for both the double knit waistband and neckband to be knit simultaneously with the body pieces so that minimal seaming is needed. After the body is completed, stitches are picked up for the set-in sleeves, which are shaped with short rows and end with double knit cuffs.
A row tracker is provided to keep track of pattern repeats. Notes on how to knit a half size are included.
The Apiary Book Sleeve is a separate pattern meant to be a matching companion piece to this cardigan.
I’m still looking for feedback for sizes 7-10. If you’d like to knit one of these sizes and provide feedback in exchange for the pattern, let me know!
