Aphra Cowl
by Claire Slade
“Mosaic” knitting at its finest, symmetrically flipped rows of staggered lines mimic a sweeping city skyline reflected in the calm mirror of a perfectly still lake. The kinetic design of this cowl is made entirely from slipped stitches. No stranding, no intarsia, just one color at a time, letting you take a break from intense colorwork while still producing a vibrant and striking project.
The Aphra Cowl is knit entirely in the round from the bottom up. Slipped stitches are used to create the color-changing pattern, so only one color is worked at a time, without stranding.
This pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
