Apache
The Apache design comes as a sweater or a cardigan. The design is based around cabled diagonal/diamonds with texture and colour designs inside the diamonds.
Materials:
- EITHER 10 100g balls of ‘Patricia Roberts Extra Thick Wool’ OR 11 100g hanks of ‘Patricia Roberts Extra Thick Shetland Tweed’ in main colour (NOTE: add one extra ball of main colour yarn if making the cardigan version)
- PLUS in either yarn listed for main colour, 2 balls of first contract colour and 1 ball in each of 5 additional contrast colours
Additional items:
- Large cable needle
- 5 buttons if making the cardigan version
Tension:
- Based on a stocking stitch tension of 10 stitches and 14 rows to 5 cm (2”) one repeat of the pattern (42sts) will measure 15cm (6”) wide and 84 rows will measure 30cm (12”) in depth.
Sweater measurements (one size):
- Underarm: 120 cm (48”)
- Side seam: 52cm (20.75”)
- Length: 77cm (30.75”)
- Sleeve seam: 42.5cm (17”)
Cardigan measurements (one size):
- Underarms: 125cm (50”)
- All other measurements as for sweater
