I designed these socks simply because I have wanted a pair of knit shortie socks for a very long time! I tend to wear ankle socks no matter what time of year it is; I find them more comfortable and there’s no pulling them up when they fall down because they are always in the right spot!! Since this colorway is named after me, “Andrea”, from the Louise Robert Design Collection and they are little, I couldn’t help name them after my childhood nickname “Anya”. This nickname started because my name was hard to pronounce for a little kid and as nicknames have a tendency to; it stuck. I hope you will enjoy these socks as much as I do :smile: - Andrea Yetman

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Louise Robert Design DK PURE - 238 meters/260 yards (1 skein). Sample is knit with ANDREA colourway.
DPN or circular needles of 3.5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge).
Tapestry needle
5 stitch markers.

SIZE – ADULT ONE SIZE - Length of foot adjustable

GAUGE | 28 sts = 10 cm – 4 inches

NOTE: These socks are knit top down and can be worked by following the chart at the end of the patterns or the written instructions for the textured design on the instep. The heel starts directly following the cuff.
