Anthea

There is something comforting and really wonderful about knitting cables. The Anthea sports a very pretty, yet simple cable pattern that is doable for the advanced beginner.

With the season changing,
cowls or neck warmers are always warm and comfy projects to make for oneself, or to give to others. The buttons make this project pop~

Blocked measurements: 22.5” in length and 6.5” in height.

Yarn:
One cake Softness yarn by yarnz2GO.com, or 150 yards of any worsted weight yarn in a super soft kid seta and a very smooth dralon.

Alternatively, you can use a kid seta yarn and a sport weight together.

Notions:
US needle size 7 (4.5mm) 29” in length.
3 buttons, 1” in diameter.
Cable and Darning needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 4 inches of Stockinette stitch.

Abbreviations:
K = knit
P = purl
Rep = repeat
C4F: Slip next 2 sts on to cable needle and hold at front of work, k2 from left needle, then k2 from cable needle.
C4B: Slip next 2 sts on to cable needle and hold at back of work, k2 from left needle, then k2 from cable needle.
WS = Wrong side/Purl side
RS = Right side/ Knit side
