Anne's Socks
“… Anne’s boots were rather the thickest.” - Persuasion
Inspired by Anne Elliot from Persuasion, these cuff-down socks are the perfect project for the beginning or intermediate knitter. As Anne Elliot’s character transforms through the story, so does the way she carries and adorns herself. The eyelet design on these socks can be left plain to represent the unfinished Anne we meet early in the book, or decorated with ribbons woven through the eyelets, the way the later more confident and content Anne might have worn them.
