An original crochet amigurumi Ankylosaurus pattern from the dinosaur range by June Gilbank.

Ankylosaurus was a herbivore with a heavily armoured back, a row of spikes along each side, and a club-like tail. It was about 30 ft long and lived in the late Cretaceous period.

Details: This pattern includes some special stitches to add the texture, but they are all fully explained in the pattern.

Yarn: worsted weight yarn (the ankylosaurus pictured uses Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn)

Hook: US E / 3.5mm

Size: approx 9.5″ long

Eyes: 10mm
