Anjou: Lacy tie-hem tunic
For the pattern Anjou, Kristeen was inspired by the life and designs of the famous Coco Chanel especially a 1920’s soft pear-green lace dress with a double-layered hem.
“The magical yarn that makes Anjou work is a blend of linen and merino, which creates a fabric with tonality and drape. The lace dripping from hem and sleeve depends on that drape to achieve the languorous, vintage look I was seeking.” -from French Girl Knits (the book).
