A new addition to the Anjou family~ The Anjou fingerless gloves are so fun and quick to knit; a great scrap buster project, perfect for on-the-go knitting, and ideal for gift-knitting.

The gloves are casted on at the wrist ribbing, knitted in 2x2 rib before starting slip-stitch pattern and working increases up the hand. The thumb section is then split from the rest of the glove; the two sections are worked separately,  both finishing in 2x2 rib to mirror the wrist.

There are three elements to the gloves that are customisable:

  1. Rolled edge at wrist ribbing: There is an optional rolled edge when casting on the gloves. The rolled edge version is stretchier; but you can forego the rolled edge if you wish.

  2. Wrist ribbing gauge: Please choose the wrist ribbing needle size based on your wrist circumference and 2x2 rib gauge.

  3. Length of gloves: Please measure the distance from your wrist to the bottom of your thumb to determine which length to knit. For a general idea, the slip-stitch pattern starts on the wrist for the long version, and starts at the palm for the short version.
