Anissa poncho
A sweet, romantic poncho with a lacy and frilly feel that is topped off with a shabby chic silk ribbon. Alternatively you could instead of knitting it all in one color, knit the edging or last row in a contrasting color, perhaps even the entire bottom lace. Either way it’s a beautiful knit~
Written and charted pattern for the advanced beginner.
Measurements of blocked poncho:
Circumference of neck 28”, body 60”, height 16”.
Yarn:
3 skeins of Corino in soft pinks, or 275 yards of worsted weight yarn.
Notions:
US size 10 (6mm) needle 32” in length, or size needed to obtain gauge.
2 different color stitch markers. (1 to mark beginning of round an 2nd m to mark other side of shoulder)
Ribbon 3/4” in thickness or alternatively you could use 5 to 7 strands of various weights, colors and textured yarn strands woven through eyelets or even an I-cord.
