Anise Hyssop is another name for Agastache, which is a perennial plant that I’d love to have in my garden. There are several different sorts and colours, and they all attract bees and butterflies. It’s got these bright upright flowers that catch one’s attention.
As it always seems to go with my designs, one idea leads to another. This scarf pattern is a variation of the Agastache scarf, and also similar to the new Season of Gratitude scarf Advent pattern.

Only it’s an easier version of both - due to the fact that it’s knit with only 2 colours, so fewer ends to work away.
The scarf starts with some mitered squares. After creating a large square and knitting a few rounds around it to make it slightly wider, it uses intarsia to join the 2 colours in the center while knitting the sides. There are notes included to help you make the most of your yarn.

The final scarf is nice and long, with an optional i-cord edge (which will help it from stretching even longer)

Choose 2 solid yarns, or a solid and a speckled (yarnbarf) contrast colour for the best results.

About printing: The pattern is worked out so that if you chose to print it full size you will have nice large charts, but should you want to save paper, then printing it in Book form will give you a very nice result, and the charts are still easy enough to read.
